Double Booking for Los Pumas in New Zealand for 2024 Rugby Championship

Argentina have a double booking in New Zealand for the 2024 Rugby Championship. Los Pumas will play against the All Blacks on August 10 and 17 in Wellington and Auckland. The fixtures will be in the opening two rounds of the tournament.

Los Pumas will open their year at home in July. Argentina are to face France in a two match series on July 06 and 13. The series will be followed by Argentina playing against a yet to be confirmed Tier 2 opponent on July 20. Uruguay has been strongly rumored as the Tier 2 opponent.

New Zealand will also begin their international duty in July. The All Blacks will do so against England in a two-match series. The Dunedin and Auckland test matches will be followed by a neutral test match against Fiji in San Diego, California on July 19.

The 2024 Rugby Championship will not be a home-and-away format. Argentina will play both matches against the All Blacks in New Zealand. They will be followed by a two match home series against Australia. Finally, Argentina will play home-and-away against the world champion Springboks.

The third, and final, part of Argentina’s 2024 test matches will take place in Europe. The 2024 November Internationals see Los Pumas facing Italy, Ireland and France. The match against Italy will be historic. Italy are now to be coached by Gonzalo Quesada. The former Puma played in two Rugby World Cups and was the highest point scorer in the 1999 edition. He is to coach Italy against his homeland.
