Sebastián Cancelliere was vital for the Glasgow Warriors on Saturday. The Puma scored for the Scottish side in the away fixture against Munster. It was not just any match; it was a United Rugby Championship (URC) Semi Final.

The Glasgow Warriors were 17-10 winners over Munster. The match was played at the home of Munster Rugby, Thomond Park in Limerick.

The former Jaguares Super Rugby winger provided a good support line to b in the right place at the right time. He also put on acceleration to score the try.

The win means that the Glasgow Warriors will compete in the 2024 URC Final. The team will travel from Scotland to South Africa for the URC decided. It will be played in Pretoria on Saturday, June 22 with Cancelliere’s team up against the Bulls.

The 30-year-old Cancelliere has 8 test caps for Argentina. The Hindú Club product made his debut against England in 2017. He earned one cap in 2023, doing so as a last minute replacement for Bautista Delguy against New Zealand.

Both Cancelliere and Delguy missed out on selection for the World Cup. Delguy had a tremendous season for Clermont in 2023-2024. Selection for the July 2024 Internationals is just around the corner. Both men face a nervous wait ahead of Felipe Contepomi’s roster announcement.
