Argentina XV Roster Named to Face Brazil

The Argentina XV roster has been announced. The Argentine national Men’s next-of-XV will face Brazil on September 08 and Chile on September 14 in away matches. Former Uruguayan Head Coach Esteban Meneses is in charge of the team and will be supported by Diego Ghiglione and Nicolás Vergallo.

Meneses has gone for a team containing both established names and fresh faces. There are Super Rugby Americas players and players making the step-up to the seniors following involvement for Los Pumitas in the World Rugby u20 Championship.

Joaquín Moro (Pampas) and Eliseo Morales (Pampas) are the two capped players on the roster. Moro debuted against Uruguay in July while Morales played against Wales in November 2022.

Boris Wenger is listed as a hooker though he played a lot for Los Dogos at loose head prop in Super Rugby Americas 2024. Similarly, Manuel Bernstein captained Los Pampas playing flanker though has played a lot in the second-row.
