- Senior players Domingo Saavedra, Martín Sigren and Marcelo Torrealba are all out for the season. Alfonso Escobar is another big name missing from this match.
- Tomás Salas clocked-in at 30.43 Km/h against Los Pampas, making him the fastest Chilean on the field. Salas is 5th for points scored in SRA 2025 with 72.
- Selknam players have also excellent at endurance. Federico Kennedy ran 7452 meters against Los Pampas.
- Matías Garafullic is the leading off-loader this season with 8. He starts inside Clemente Armstrong who is new to the position for Selknam.
- Raimundo Martínez has the most turnovers with 11.
- Thirteen starting Selknam players are capped by Chile and all are homegrown players.
- Yacare welcome back regular captain Mariano Garcete. He joins Lucas Sommer in the second-row but Argentine Ramiro Amarilla will remain captain. Amarilla is one of six starting players capped by Paraguay.

The match is the final home game for Selknam in the SRA regular season. The Chileans have tended to lift their game at home this season including in wins over Los Dogos and Los Tarucas. However, Los Pampas and Peñarol both won narrowly in Santiago. Yacare have had fewer close results this year but have beaten the likes of Peñarol, Los Tarucas and Los Pampas. Both teams have big packs of forwards. The sunny afternoon conditions will ask plenty of the players. Selknam are favorites to win in Santiago.
