Two rounds remain in the regular season of Super Rugby Americas 2025. Six of the seven teams can mathematically secure places in the Semi Finals. The contenders picture is such that the top three are presently all very close to qualifying while three others are all within reach.
As shown in the points table below, Os Cobras are bottom and cannot improve on their position. The Brazilian side has one remaining match which will be a home game against Los Tarucas. If Los Tucumanos win that and their remaining match then they could secure a Semi Final spot in their rookie season. This would require other results to go their way.

Los Pampas lead with 36 points and are followed by Los Dogos on 34 and Peñarol on 34. Selknam’s upset win over Los Pampas on Monday denied the Buenos Aires franchise of securing a spot, there and then, in the final four.
Peñarol had a Bye this past round and have remaining matched against Los Dogos and Los Pampas. They could claim two wins and two bonus points or no wins and even no bonus points. A failure to acquire points could mean they miss out on the Semi Finals as Selknam are 5th on 28 points. The Chileans could win twice with bonus points to move up to 38 points. In other words, Selknam could finish above Peñarol or even Los Pampas.
It is all or nothing for Selknam. The same is true for Yacare and Los Tarucas. Yacare face these two teams (Selknam and Los Tarucas) in their remaining matches. Two losses would mean they miss out on the play-off’s. Of note is that Los Tarucas have Os Cobras before their regular season finale against Yacare.
