South America’s fourth ranked Men’s team play host to the next-of-XV of the continental giants. Brazil’s home match against the Argentina XV will not be capped nor involve World Rankings. Taking place in Jacareí, the match opens 2025 for both Brazil and the Argentina XV. The match is preparation for Brazil who face Chile home-and-away in Rugby World Cup qualifiers later this month. Argentina’s players are men identified for potential higher honors this year and moving forward.

PREDICTION |
Brazil’s professional team, Os Cobras went winless in Super Rugby Americas (SRA) 2025. The same players provide the backbone for Brazil’s test team, Os Tupis. The Argentina XV is predominantly made up of SRA players. The Argentine teams all outmatched Os Cobras in SRA 2025. Brazil’s mild winter conditions will encourage open running rugby. The Argentina XV enter the match as clear favorites to win.
