July Internationals 2025 – Brazil vs Argentina XV

South America’s fourth ranked Men’s team play host to the next-of-XV of the continental giants. Brazil’s home match against the Argentina XV will not be capped nor involve World Rankings. Taking place in Jacareí, the match opens 2025 for both Brazil and the Argentina XV. The match is preparation for Brazil who face Chile home-and-away in Rugby World Cup qualifiers later this month. Argentina’s players are men identified for potential higher honors this year and moving forward.

Tiago Oviedo starts for Brazil. He thus defects from Argentina to Brazil at the representative level.

Bautista Farisé played the Super Rugby Americas 2025 season at inside center for Peñarol but he has been named to start at fly half for the Argentina XV.
