Argentina will play host to Australia in a two match test series in 2026. The tour will see Los Pumas having home advantage for the matches which will be played in August and September.
The Wallabies’ tour of Argentina is positioned either side of the 2026 Nations Championship fixtures. Australia host Ireland, France and Italy in July and face England, Scotland and Wales away in November.
Australia will prepare for their tour of Argentina with a home series against Japan. The Wallabies play host to the Asia no.1 on August 08 and 15. They will then return home from Argentina to face South Africa on September 27 and play a Bledisloe Cup series against New Zealand in October.
There will be no Rugby Championship in 2026. The reason for this is that New Zealand and South Africa broke away for the year to have their own series, the “Greatest Rivalry.”
An announcement containing Los Pumas’ full match schedule for 2026 is forthcoming. For the time being, besides the home series vs Australia, Argentina is confirmed to be playing home matches against Scotland, Wales, and England in July, away matches against Ireland, Italy and France in November and an additional match for the finals weekend of the Nations Championship.
