The home of English Rugby will play host to Argentina vs South Africa in October. The London stadium will host the final round battle of the South Atlantic on Saturday, October 04. The teams will have faced-off the seven days earlier in South Africa.
As per normal, Los Pumas and the Springboks will play each other in the final two rounds of the 2025 Rugby Championship. However, in 2025 the match in South Africa will be in the penultimate round rather than in the final round.
The change of country is a first for a fixture involving the teams, outside of Rugby World Cups, but has previously occurred in the Rugby Championship. Argentina moved the 2016 home match against Australia to Twickenham Stadium. The Wallabies were 33-21 winners.
The 2025 Rugby Championship will run from August 16 to October 04. South Africa open with a two-match home series against Australia while Argentina do so against New Zealand. The Springboks will subsequently tour New Zealand for two matches and Los Pumas will tour Australia.
