Los Pampas declared their title ambitions. Playing at home on Friday, the Buenos Aires side were 72-14 winners over Os Cobras. Flair and execution were leading factors continuation to the result. The thunderous victory gives the Argentine team maximum competition points while seeding Os Cobras remaining firmly at the bottom of the table.

- Nahuel Clausen of Club Argentino de Rugby had an explosive debut for Los Pampas. Clausen scored a first-half hat-trick. He came through the system in an unusual manner as his club is not involved in the URBA elite. In addition, his father is Néstor Clausen; a 1986 World Champion with Argentina at the FIFA World Cup in Mexico.
- Clausen opened the scoring. Os Cobras then had an opportunity at scoring next only for Augusto Guillamondegui’s penalty to go under the bar.
- Os Cobras lost loose head Brendon Alves to a red card on 17 minutes. The Brazilians were 17-0 down at that point.
- The match was secured well before half-time. Bruno Heit’s 20th minute try secured a four try bonus point.
- The 40 minute mark saw Los Pampas up 48-0. This was with Renthel Estanislao missing four conversions.
- Endy Willian Pinheiro and Rodolfo Martins scored second half tries for the visitors. Debutant Thiago Oviedo, who is an Argentine eligible for Brazil, scored his first SRA career points.
- Los Pampas are now on 24 points. Peñarol, who face Los Tarucas in Tucumán on Sunday are on 19 points.
- Os Cobras are the basement team on 4 points. Wins to Los Dogos and Los Tarucas on Saturday and Sunday will increase the difference Os Cobras and other teams.
