- Yacare’s alterations a double change in the back-row. In the backs Paraguay’s Argentine winger Arturo López replaced Juan Gonzalez and Francisco Diez starts in place of Sebastián Urbieta. This is with Argentine center Ramiro Amarilla moving from outside center to inside center.
- Los Dogos enter with no changes from the side that fell narrowly to Los Tarucas. There are, nonetheless, two changes to the replacements with Juan Ignacio Greising Revol and Juan Cruz Caballero included.
- The now capped Dogos player is Pedro Delgado. He debuted against the World Champion Springboks with a home victory in Santiago del Estero in the 2024 Rugby Championship.
- All three Yacare wins thus far this season have been by seven points or less. The reverse is true for Los Dogos. The Argentine side are have three losses this season. All have been by narrow margins.
- The most recent Yacare vs Dogos fixture was a Semi Final last season. Los Dogos won 17-14 in sudden death overtime in Córdoba.
- The match features two individual Argentine battles of note in the halves. Yacare’s Juan Cruz Strada, and Valentino Dicapua have been playing very well this season. Strada is up against Agustín Moyano with both scrum-halves being in the conversation for test honors this year. Dicapua and Juan Bautista Baronio have taken their opportunities to be starting ahead of the regular starters for their respective teams.

A wonderful evening of warm weather awaits the teams. Yacare are have three wins, all from high-scoring matches, while Los Dogos have only one win thus far this season. The combination of a loss of 2024 players to Europe and teams lifting their game to face the reigning champions has seen an underwhelming season so far for Los Cordobeses. Yacare have home advantage and are yet to lose at home in 2025. Yacare are favorites to win.
