Dogos Overcome Pampas to Book Spot in Super Rugby Americas Final

The defending Super Rugby Americas champions, Los Dogos will defend their title in the 2025 Final. Los Cordobeses were 27-21 winners over Los Pampas in Buenos Aires on Friday evening. The result means that Los Dogos will travel to Montevideo, Uruguay to face Peñarol in the Final next Friday.

MATCH NOTES

Los Dogos outscored Los Pampas by three tries to two.
Lautaro Cipriani scored first thanks to a break from center Leonardo Gea Salim and an assist from fly half Juan Bautista Baronio. The fly half converted the try from a wide angle.
Pressure from Los Dogos saw a second early score; scrum-half Agustín Moyano darted over on 14 minutes.
Los Pampas regathered to have the better of play in the second quarter. They scored two tries with fly half Ignacio Inchauspe and scrum half Mateo Albanese both darting over. Inchauspe went 1/2 at goal for a 14-12 halftime scoreline favoring the visitors.
Baronio slotted two second-half penalties while Inchauspe kicked three and missed one.
The missed penalty together with a try to Gea Salim saw Los Cordobeses to victory.
The win increases Los Dogos strong records against Los Pampas to 8 wins from 10 matches.
Peñarol await Los Dogos in the final which means there will be a repeated SRA Champion.
