Béziers, France will be the setting for an international match between teams from New Zealand and Uruguay on Sunday. The uncapped fixture sees the All Blacks XV taking-on Uruguay. The match is the third, and final, fixture of the All Blacks XV’s November tour. For Uruguay it is game two of three matches in November.
The All Blacks XV opened their November tour with a come-from-behind win over the Barbarians in London. It was followed by a convincing victory over England ‘A’ in Bath. The tour now concludes against the second best Men’s test team from South America.
Uruguay’s November fixtures are the first since successfully qualifying for Rugby World Cup 2027. Los Teros began their road to Australia 2027 with an away test match against Portugal this past Saturday. Uruguay’s impressive victory saw the team rising to 15th in the world rankings and, in doing so, greatly improving their chances of being in Band 3 for the World Cup draw in December.
The match against the All Blacks XV falls in between test matches against Portugal and Romania. Los Teros will be focused on the assignment at hand but have an eye on Romania the following weekend. Uruguay need a good performance in Bucharest to ensure the aforementioned rankings band spot is retained.

| PREDICTION |
The neutral location of Béziers, France will play host to a very rare fixture. Uruguay and New Zealand have only once met in a test match and only on one other occasion in an uncapped rugby match. Watching the match will only be possible for those in attendance as the match will not be broadcast. The fixture had been scheduled to take-place in Montpellier but a dispute saw it moved to nearby Béziers. Friendly playing conditions await the teams in Southern France. The All Blacks XV are favorites to win in Béziers.
