Os Curumins defeated Paraguay at the Jockey Club de Rosario in Argentina. The hard-fought 27-24 win over Paraguay at u20 level sees Brazil officially and successfully qualified for the 2026 World Rugby U20 Challenger Cup.
Brazil was forced to dig deep as the match saw the lead changing hands. Paraguay scored the first try of the match with Francisco Da Ros opening the account in response for Os Curumins. Ultimately, the first-half saw little in the way of scoring.
The second-half began with Paraguay scoring but Brazil hit-back with force. Tries to second-rower Cauã Oliveira, winger Guilherme Landim, and centers Tobias Durent and Cauã Tenório put Os Curumins in control. Paraguay hit-back late but were unable to catch the Brazilians.
