The fifth round of Super Rugby Americas (SRA) 2026 will feature matches played from Friday to Sunday. The eight South American professional teams will all be in action. The opening clash is a battle of past champions as Peñarol travel to Córdoba to face Los Dogos.
Saturday sees struggling Selknam and Yacare both having home advantage. Selknam play host to SRA rookies, Los Capibaras while Yacare have moved their match against Los Tarucas to Corrientes, Argentina.
The Sunday fixture will be played in São Paulo. Os Cobras are looking for their second win of the SRA season. It will be a historic accomplishment should Os Cobras defeat the top-of-the-table Pampas.

- Noah Riley will become the first Canadian to play for Peñarol; he starts at outside center. Countrymen, Ethan Fryer and James Thiel are set on make their debuts as replacements.
- Los Dogos are coming off a phenomenal 68-0 home win over Selknam.
- Ernesto Giúdice moves to inside center in place of missing Dogos captain, Faustino Sánchez Valarolo.
- Peñarol has won 6 of their past 7 matches against Los Dogos. The only previous Dogos win vs Peñarol was 27-12 in Montevideo in 2024.
- Gastón Rogé will be involved as an SRA official for the first time in his career.
