An Argentine derby will take place on Friday to determine the first finalist of Super Rugby Americas 2025. In a repeat of the 2024 SRA Final, Los Pampas will have home advantage against Los Dogos in Buenos Aires. It is a match with plenty to pay attention to to as, besides the final result there are players in the frame for selection for the Argentina XV and even Los Pumas.

The two matches between the sides during the regular season saw one draw and one win for Los Cordobeses. The overall form of both teams came in waves with spiked of impressive rugby occurring alongside defeats. Los Pampas had an excellent performance to seal the home Semi Final while Los Dogos fell to a late defeat against Selknam. The season has shown Los Dogos competing strongly upfront compared to a more mobile approach from Los Pampas. With pleasant conditions expected, Los Dogos are favorites to win on the road.
